Bodie Marx

Senior Vice President, Curriculum

Bodie is a seasoned executive and leader in the educational publishing space. After teaching for five years, Bodie began his educational publishing career more than thirty years ago by building one of the first comprehensive instructional software products and go-to-market strategy for microcomputers at a small supplemental publisher where he was President.  He moved on to become Vice President of Marketing at Scott Foresman (now part of Pearson) where he also managed their small innovative products division. After spending three years in trade publishing with three French partners, he returned to the digital school space and was President of Siboney Learning Group where he developed an award-winning and highly successful integrated learning system during his 10 years there..  Bodie then moved to McGraw Hill, initially to be EVP of their Wright Group division, where he held several different executive positions during his 10-year tenure at one of the Big Three publishers

He joined SSI in 2013 to lead Delta Education; after one year he was asked to lead EPS in addition to Delta. He was also responsible for the integration of Triumph Learning into SSI in 2017.

Bodie has been a Board Member of the Association of Educational Publishers, the American Association of Publishers, the NCTM Technology Leadership Consortium and has served on two school boards. He has a degree in French Literature from Yale University.
