Her career began in operations management, where she gained a deep understanding of business processes and the importance of efficiency. This experience led her to pursue a career in technology sales, architecture, and international business, where she developed a knack for translating business requirements into innovative solutions.

Laura joined School Specialty in 2019, bringing with her a wealth of experience from her previous role at MTD Products, a leading manufacturer and distributor of consumer goods. At MTD, Laura played a pivotal role in leading and executing complex business and technology projects, ensuring that they delivered needle-moving value to the business, delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

In her current role as Vice President of Program Management at School Specialty, Laura is responsible for leading a team of talented professionals who are dedicated to working with both the business and technical teams to execute solutions that meet the goals and vision of School Specialty. She is passionate about creating a collaborative and empowering environment where her team members and stakeholders can thrive and contribute their best ideas.
